Game Art & Machinima

Recently we got a new brief ^^
So excited for this one!!
We are to work within a team, mine is a team of 4. My role within the team is to create the environment and all the props.
We are to create a 1 minute cut scene/ cinematic within unity. It's got to be based on one of the following themes: challenge, gift or surveillance.
Things we have to do:
Design, create as well as rig and animate. 2 humanoid character archetypes. The two characters are to interact with each other.
Sceneography
1 minute cinematic.

By 21 of March
We have to have all the concepts done. That is, Character and environment.
Character turnarounds.
Technical drawings of environment and props. (Floor plans, elevations and schematics)
Video Showreel demonstrating a rigged animated and textured version of our tutorial character.
Storyboard for the cinematic sequence.

By 2nd of May
We have to have our cinematic done in order to present it and get some formal feedback.

By 9th of May
Interactive Turntable for each character
( with walk, jup, idle and greeting animation)
Interactive walk-through of the scenography presented in first person perspective.
A 1 min cutscene cinematic that runs from Unity's Game Engine
Quicktime recording of the cinematic

Betty's Concept Art!!

One of my friends wanted in on this project.
Her concept art is heavenly so obviously I agreed.
You can find tons of her awesome work at betty-art.blogspot.com
I asked her to read through my brief, get a feel to what I'm doing and I told her what I wanted to see.
Her problem is that she tends to make things really funny, or really cute.
And I needed scary and creepy. So with these key words in mind she came up with quite a few concepts for me and I've gotta say I am so proud!
These are my two favourite ones. And out of those two I am a huge fan of the one on the right. I strongly believe that is it going to and up being my 'teleport to a different world'. I requested a few more drawings on this guy, from the side etc. and I can't wait to start modelling ^^
